- Warringah Amateur Swimming Association Winter Training Scholarships
Dick Gallie Memorial Scholarship
This award, which comprises cash and sports equipment, honours the memory of one of WASA’s most dedicated officials and office holders, is presented to a deserving young swimmer exhibiting a high all-round level of character and sportsmanship. In 2016, the winner will be a boy or girl born between 1 July 2005 and 30 June 2006. Important criteria are demonstrating commitment to his or club and to WASA events.
Warringah Amateur Swimming Association Winter Training Scholarships
As part of its commitment to providing ongoing support to its members, The Committee of WASA is offering a number of Training Scholarships to enable selected, deserving swimmers to continue their involvement with the sport during the winter months. These will be awarded for coaching at an approved training provider of their choice throughout the winter swimming season (May to September).
