WASA Race and Carnival Committee is seeking expressions of interest from clubs interested in hosting the above Carnival on a date during either of the following weekends in 2016:
Saturday 23 or Sunday 24 January
Saturday 30 or Sunday 31 January.
We would prefer a starting time of 2.30 pm or 3.00 pm, with Warm-up commencing half an hour before that. Due consideration must be given to tidal conditions.
The Host Club would be responsible for:
- Hire and preparation of the pool and surrounds, including lane ropes, flags, etc
- Providing adequate tables/chairs for officials
- Providing a BBQ, including soft drinks; profits are retained by the host club
WASA will prepare:
- The meet program
- The officials’ roster, liaising with the host club; other clubs will be asked to assist with providing
- Timekeepers, etc
