The WASA Race and Carnival Committee is seeking expressions of interest from clubs interested in hosting the above Carnival on one of the following dates:
Saturday 28 January 2017
Sunday 29 January 2017
Saturday 4 February 2017 or
Sunday 5 February 2017
The Committee would prefer a starting time of 2.30 pm or 3.00 pm, with Warm-up commencing half an hour before that. Due consideration must be given to tidal conditions.
The Host Club would be responsible for:
- Hiring and preparing the pool and surrounds, including lane ropes, flags, etc
- Providing adequate tables/chairs for officials Providing a BBQ, including soft drinks; profits are retained by the host club
WASA will prepare:
- the meet program
- the officials’ roster, liaising with the host club; other clubs will be asked to assist with providing timekeepers, etc
